Hi. I'm Mike from 1AAuto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Mass airflow meter is located here, on top of the intake tube, aft of the air filter. To change it, I'll push in on this connector to unlock it. Lift it off, push that down.
There's a screw here and a screw here. It's a six millimeter, or it's a very small Phillips head, you can put in there. I'm going to use the six millimeter ratchet and remove it. Carefully take this one out and don’t lose the screw. Now, on the opposite corner is the other screw.
This is loose. The mass airflow sensor will come right out, straight out.
This is the mass airflow meter sensor. It is keyed on both sides and there's little pins that match on the air intake tube. It only goes in one way. So, this is the correct way. It will sit down nice and even. The screw holes line up. The tabs line up. The lock for the electrical connector’s towards the top. If you tried to put it in backwards, flip it over here, it's not going to fit right. It's close, but it's not quite there. It doesn't really want to line up with the tab. The screw hole doesn't line up. So, if you tried to struggle with this and force it, you could break it. It definitely, when it fits the right way, goes in real easily. You can also tell, there's a direction of flow, so the air is coming from the air filter. It's going into the engine, so it needs to go into this opening and that's how it reads the amount of air going into the engine. It's going to sit in, just like this.
I'll reinstall those screws. These are just really small screws. They're not going to take a lot of torque. I'll get this back one set up. They’re just little machine screws, little insrets in the air tube. You don't want to over tighten them. Get them in there with my fingers. I'm going to take the ratchet and just very lightly tighten them. Right where I feel them get tight, I'm just going to stop.
With those tightened up, I can put the connector back on. It'll click when it locks in place.

Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we're going to show you how to replace a Mass Air Flow Sensor on this 2004 Nissan Titan and it's the same part and similar process on these Titans from 2004 to 2013. The only items that you're going to need for this are a new mass airflow sensor from 1AAuto.com and a Phillips screw driver.
Your mass airflow sensor is right here. Just push the tab on the harness and pull it free and then remove these two Phillip's screws. We'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Then, your mass airflow sensor pulls right out.
Take your new mass airflow sensor and push it into place. Then replace those two Phillip's screws and we'll just fast-forward again as Don tightens those up. Now reconnect your harness and you're all set.
We hope this video helps you out. Brought to you by www.1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet. Please feel free to call us toll-free, 888-844-3393. We're the company that's here for you on the Internet and in person.

1. Removing the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor

Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To pop the hood, use the little lever right here to the left of the instrument panel. Pop it up, and now we're going to release the safety. It's a little lever here. Push it to the passenger's side. Lift up the hood. Pop rod is over here. Install it right there.
Going to disconnect the connector on the mass airflow sensor. Push down on this little tab and pull the connector up, just like that. Take the 7mm socket and extension and a ratchet, and take these bolts out. You can also use a Phillips head screwdriver. Just get it loose so you can do it by hand. Get that little bolt out. Take the next bolt out. Be careful not to drop them. And grab the mass airflow sensor and slide it out. Just like that.
Here's our old mass airflow sensor. Here's our new mass airflow sensor from 1AAuto.com. The body is very similar. Has all the same shapes. The connector is all the same. Get yours at 1AAuto.com and be ready to rock and roll.
Insert the new one in the same location. You want these little tabs going towards the front of the vehicle. Take our bolts, little 7mm bolts, and be careful not to drop them. Get that started. Same with this one. Take our 7mm socket and extension and ratchet. We'll snug them up. Just like that. Take the connector, line it up, and then lock it in place.

Within two weeks of installing this part, my vehicle was driving about 30 MPH and the engine began sputtering and I lost power steering. Almost crashed. Replaced it with a factory MAF sensor and I am running smoothly again. Spend the extra $100 on a legitimate MAF sensor, you will not regret it.
Great part!

The device came in a very short time, but after a month, my engine started acting up and throwing a mass airflow error code. The dealership looked at it and found there was a fault in the housing. I'm contacting service@1aauto.com for a replacement or refund.

Well the part was received in a timely manner, part was correct and installed in minutes, but failed the test drive. It failed in the first 10 miles, had to take the car in to the dealer and $500.00 dollars later should be back on the road. Will order other parts from A1 but maybe not electronics.

Arrived on time but it does not fit like my OEM sensor does. My original one clicks into place where this one just sits there. This later caused my car to throw a bunch of codes and limit my rpm to less than 2,000... sputtering and feeling like the car was going to stall at any minute... scary

April 20, 2018
This part did not work. I installed it and the engine was worse than before. My wife did not feel safe driving it. When I went to check, the connection was loose. So I tried to push it one more. That did nothing. The tabs that help lock the part into place are too small. So I contacted customer service. After some email exchanges, they agreed to send another part, free of charge. The second was just as bad as the first. The connection would not stay connected even while stationary. The car did not run well at all.
Wish I could get my money back. I now have two MAF sensors that are of no use. Guess I'm going to the dealership. I had such high hopes from 1AAuto as so many people recommend them. Guess I just had a bad experience.
Worked perfectly....for 2 months

April 29, 2018
I purchased this part for my 2008 Nissan Roque in December of 2017. It fixed the issue for about two months and then the car became problematic again. I ran ODB diagnostics and it pointed to the MAFS again. Tried cleaning it and reconnecting everything but no dice. While the price on this part was a steal at $30, I will pay a little more for a Hitachi MAFS next. It's little more expensive but I can't see spending $30 every two months.
Worked as advertised

Part came timely as promised. Appears to be working fine in my 2011 Rogue. One point of error I found to help others. The video on YouTube for installing this part for the 2011 Nissan Rogue says to use a 6mm socket. In fact for my Rogue it takes a 7mm socket.

August 24, 2020
I bought this sensor 6 months ago, because had good reviews on it.. but didn't work out for me. Just waste of money and time. Since this MAF sensor is brand new, Ive trusted, couldn't fix my problem even with brand new part, so had to change unnecessary parts, which I shouldn't because of this. After all I've clean my old sensor and reinstalled...Problem Fixed!!! When I contact 1A customer service their not ready to refund.. so I wouldn't recommend 1A parts!!! don't wate your time and Money like me...
