How to aim your Honda LaneWatch replacement mirror: Tips and troubleshooting
We recommend doing the following to ensure optimal Honda mirror programming:
- Make sure your camera sensor lens is clean
- Aim your mirror camera in a well-lit area free of bright objects (such as sun-lit windows or reflectors) positioned behind the mirror aiming target
- Adjust lighting as necessary to ensure the 6 dots on the 6-point poster are visible to the camera
- Aim your mirror on a flat surface
- Make sure your tire pressure and treads are even
- Make sure your steering wheel is straight
- Make sure the transmission is in Park or Neutral, and that the parking brake is applied
- Remove excess cargo from your vehicle
- Do not modify your vehicle’s suspension (such as with a lift kit)
