Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we're going to show you how to replace a headlight on this 2005 GMC Savana. The only tools you're going to need for it are a Phillips screwdriver, and you're going to need a T15 Torx driver to adjust the headlights.
The first thing that you have to do is you have to remove these four Phillips screws that are around the headlight. We'll just fast forward as he does this. With those screws out, there's a bracket on the front of the headlight that will come off. See right there. Just take that off, pull the headlight out, and then there's a connector on the back. What you want to do is you want to just wiggle that back and forth until it comes off.
To reinstall you just want to plug in the headlight, put the bracket on the front of it, and slide the headlight back into place. Once you have those holes lined up, you just want to replace those Phillips screws. We'll fast forward as he does this. What he's doing is he's carefully putting the screw on the screwdriver and then feeding it into the hole.
To adjust the headlight, there are two T15 bolts. The one on the side, if you tighten it, will angle the headlight to the left, and, if you loosen it, will angle it to the right. The top one, if you tighten it, will angle the light upwards. If you loosen it, it will angle the light down.
