1999 Acura CL L4 2.3L Automatic Transmission Rear Engine Mount TRQ MTA34435

Installed on 1995 Honda Accord LX 2.2L Engine mount made in Taiwan, decent for quality but has a defect, flaw or quality control issue, I do like the one piece linkage for the vacuum solenoid actuator compared to competitors riveted linkage which breaks short time after installation. The issue is the internal chamber mechanism is completely broken or not working. The one piece rod moves inward and outward and doesn't feel like it's attached to anything, and binds up when vacuum is applied to the actuator, it will not pull lever rod in without human assistance. The lever rod is binding up either on rod entry into the mount or the mechanism inside is broken and impeding the function of the mount. I used the mount anyway because I'm not gonna find one locally. I ended up not installing the vacuum actuator and removed and plugged/cap the vacuum line. A bit disappointed in it, but for $150 mount that's been discontinued by honda, this is what I have to look forward to on a 30 year old car.
