Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we'll show you how to replace the spark plugs. We just show you one and then we do the rest in order after that. This will give you a good idea. Tools you'll need are a 10mm wrench or socket and ratchet to remove the engine cover, and then a 5/8 spark plug socket with a ratchet and extension.

I've located the coil next to the air box on the left hand side/driver side of the engine. I'm going to access it by removing four 10mm bolts that hold the engine cover in place. Remove the spark plug wires from the coil and from the valve cover. I'm going to start on the right hand side with the first one, and I'm going to take them off one at a time. When they're loose from the coil pack, from the valve cover, pull it out.

I'm using a 5/8 inch spark plug socket with extension. Get down to the spark plug. The spark plug socket actually grips on to the spark plug and pulls it up. If you didn't have a spark plug socket you could use a regular 5/8 deep socket, but you would need a magnet to get the spark plug out.

Most plugs are going to come pre-gapped when they're new. What we're going to do is check it and in this case it should be between 1 and 1.1mm. We reinstall the plug wire from 1A Auto back into the coil. I'm going to then repeat for cylinder two, and when I'm finished with that, three and then four. The final step is to put the engine cover back on.
