How to Change Reverse Light Bulbs 2003-08 Honda Pilot

Created on: 2017-08-08

How to install, repair, fix, change or replace a broken, damaged, burned out, reverse light bulb on 07 Honda Pilot.

  1. step 1 :Replacing the Reverse Light Bulbs
    • Open the hatch
    • Pry off the square panel with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Turn the light counterclockwise
    • Remove the bulb
  2. step 2 :Installing the Reverse Light Bulbs
    • Press the bulb in
    • Turn the socket clockwise
    • Press on the square panel

Open up the hatch. There are two panels. One here and one here. Depending on which back up light bulb was burned out, you could open either one. Use a small, flat bladed screwdriver. Pop it open. Turn it counterclockwise to unlock it.

You can change your bulb—it will pull out. Put the new one it. This bulb's okay, so we're going to leave it. Put it back in. Fit the slots. Turn it clockwise. It'll lock. The bulb was changed. With the bulb replaced, we're going to install the cover.
