In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the battery in your keyless remote for your 2001 Volkswagen Beetle. The only tool you need is a flat blade screwdriver.

Open up your key and then pry on the inside here to separate the top. Then pull off the back. Then you want to pry out on this battery bracket. Then just pull the battery out.

Take your new battery, put it back into the bracket, and push the bracket back into place. Then push the back back onto the key, and then slide the top down back into place. You're all set.
