How to check and fill your power steering fluid on 09 Honda CR-V
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
We're gonna release the hood right by this foot rest. Grab the lever right there and pull it out. Now we're gonna pull open the hood. The release is right here. Just push that up. Release the hood and you can grab the prop rod right here. Pull it up and stick it right there.
Here's your coolant right here. This is where you add it to the radiator if you did any kind of repairs or had a major leak. You want to make sure that you do not take this cap off when the vehicle is hot.
To take the cap off, you're gonna twist it to the left. And then you pull out. That's where you add it. But on regular basis, you want to check it at the reservoir over here. As you can see, this level - this is the indicator for the minimum. And this is the indicator for the maximum right there. So, you're gonna want to check that right there. Sometimes it might be easier if you take a flashlight and you hold it up to the bottle, then you can see where the level is and you can adjust the level accordingly.
To open this, you're gonna twist this to the left to pull the cap off. Pull this hose out. Add your fluid. And once you're up to where you need to be then you can put the cap back on. Make sure that hose goes in, and just snug it up.
To close the hood we're gonna pull the prop rod out. Put it back in its holder and drop the hood.

Andy shows you the difference between an old blower motor with a worn bearing, and a brand new blower motor, to see how and old one can make that awful noise.
