How to check the coolant in a 2013 Toyota Camryon a 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 Toyota Camry.
Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years.
Hey, everyone. Sue, here from 1A Auto. Today we have a 2013 Toyota Camry in the shop, and I'm going to show you where your coolant radiator fluid is located. Center of the engine compartment, right behind the actual hood latch. We have the radiator cover cap. We're not going to touch that, but you do have an overflow tank. If everything is in working condition and you've got no leaks, this is the proper way to check your fluid--hot and cold. And it actually is nice enough to give you the F for full and L for low.
The F is when it's hot because the fluid expands, so if you've been driving your car, and you just want to check your fluid, open the hood, and that fluid should be up in that area right around there. When you get up in the morning check your car and it hasn't been running, the fluid should be on the lower side. As long as it's within that window, you should be all set.
When it comes to the type of fluid, check your manual. Each manufacturer has its own type of fluid that they recommend and conditions for the engine.
