How to check coolant level on 03 Chevy Impala.

  1. step 1 :Checking the Coolant Level
    • Locate the coolant reservoir at the rear passenger side of the engine bay
    • Open the coolant reservoir cap
    • Check that the coolant is up to the cold fill line if the engine is cold or the hot fill line if the engine has been running
    • Add coolant as needed
    • Close the reservoir cap

All right. To check the coolant level, when you check it regularly, you're going to check it at the reservoir. The reservoir cap is right here. I take a flashlight. I'm going to slide it in there. There's a hot line and a cold line. Right now, this engine is cold, so the coolant is right at the cold level. You would adjust accordingly. Then, push the cap back on.
