Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the transmission fluid on this 2002 Suzuki XL-7. It's automatic with a 2.7-liter V6 engine. The only items you'll need for this is a 14mm socket and ratchet, a drip pan, a funnel, and transmission fluid.
Your transmission pan is located right here and it's a 14mm drain plug. Using a socket and ratchet just remove that, and make sure your drip pan is underneath, and then just let that drain. When it stops draining replace that drain plug.
Pull out your transmission dipstick. Using a funnel replace the transmission fluid. Replace your transmission dipstick, and start your vehicle.
Now you want to remove the dipstick, wipe it off, put it back, and check it again. We're all set.
