step 1 :Removing the Air Door Actuator
- Bring the glove box down
- Push the back of the glove box up
- Remove the two bolts from the air door actuator

step 2 :Installing the Air Door Actuator
- Insert the air door actuator
- Insert and tighten the two bolts to the air door actuator
- Push the glove box back into place

In this video, we're going to show you the basics of doing an air door actuator on this vehicle. It's a 2006 Chevy Impala. We found it impossible to video it, so the best we can do is show you exactly where it is and where the bolts are. You'll need a small socket and ratchet set.
Once you know where it is, it's pretty easy. There are two bolts, and you unplug it and then replug it in.
On this Impala, you bring your glove box down and take out anything that might fall out.
Then you push the back of the glove box down, or actually push that part up. The glove box comes down further. Then right back in here, you can see.
Here's the air door actuator. There are two bolts that hold it in place. You would need to undo those bolts with a socket and ratchet, remove it and reinstall it.
