Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
You can see I have this vehicle on a lift; it just makes it a lot easier to film, but the standard jack . if you have a flat tire, the standard jack lifting points are on the body. This is the front, right behind the front wheel. I don't know if you can see it, but there's actually an arrow embossed right on the body that shows you where to place the jack. It's the same thing with the rear here. Again, I don't know if you can see the arrow, but it's embossed right there. If you can just come right down below, and you can look for it and see it. If you're working on the vehicle, that's a good place to put the safety jack stands.
If you want to work on the rear of the vehicle, you can carefully jack it up right underneath this control arm on either side. Again, I would put the jack under here, and then put your safety stand under the body.
For the front, it's kind of the same thing. You could jack up each wheel by using the control arm. I'll show you this from the front. Go right underneath. Right under this control arm you can jack it up, and then you'd put your safety stand again on the body right where it directs you to. I would never put a jack anywhere underneath the center of this vehicle. Always jack on each side. If you need to jack up more than one wheel, I just do it one at a time.
