Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

Behind the front wheels, and actually in front of the rear wheels, you'll find these little triangles circled in green. Those indicate where the spot is underneath to put the jack. Underneath the pinch weld you can see there's a little bit of just minor damage from the lifts over the years as the car is getting put up on that pinch weld. That's where you want to lift up the car.

Now, ideally you want to be able to lift the pinch weld and then put a safety stand right in underneath. A lot of times your jack won't allow that. So what you can do is you can jack up right underneath the subframe in the front here that's a good place to put a jack and jack the vehicle up. Then you can put your safety stand underneath the pinch weld on each side. You can do the same thing I'm just showing both sides.

Jack up under the subframe and put your jack on the pinch weld. In the rear it's the same thing. You ideally can put the jack up on the pinch weld and then put the safety pin underneath. The other thing you can do is you can carefully jack underneath the rear control arm and then put the safety pin under the pinch weld. Under the rear control under the good place lift it there and under the rear control arm on the other side. Again, put the safety stand under the pinch weld.

Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
