How to raise and support a Camry on 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 Toyota Camry
Jack Stands
Floor Jack
Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years.
Hey, everyone. Sue here from 1A Auto, and today I have a 2013 Toyota Camry in the shop. I'm going to raise it up on my two-post lift and show you the jack points for when you have a floor jack or if you get a lift. If you need any parts for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1aauto.com.
Now, with the vehicle raised up on our two-post lift, I've got the actual lift points on the actual jack points. The body pinch rail is right here, and if you've got the side fender flairs, you'll see the cutouts that they adapt for on the actual lift or jack. Underneath these actual pinch points on the rail are little jagged metal cutouts to give it strength. And to show you, that's the location of each jack point for the lift. It's the same on both sides and the same location from front to back.
If I was to lift this up on a jack and use jack stands, I would actually put the jack stand here on the body frame rail. Right here and here, in the front. You could also use the sub-frame mounting bolts, but do not use control arms. And you could use the midway drift, right here on the sub-frame.
And in the rear, if I was to jack this up, I would try to put a jack in the center if I could to balance it out. And then maybe one--this is a difficult area, so if you were to jack it up, actually, you could jack it in the center and put two jack stands on the pinch rail point. You want everything to be balanced out. Any metal that is angled is not a good place. Things slide and it could be damaging.
