Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
You want to you lift your Saab 9-3 up off the ground. As you can see, I have it a lift here. A lot of people don't even notice these little arrows on the lower ground effects. There's one in the back, one on the front, both sides. They point to little indentations in the ground effects, and they're basically with a lifting post right here. That's where you want to put a lift or jack under the car.
There's the one in the rear and the one in the front, same thing. Each side is the same. It has a little arrow that marks it. Then there's a little lifting post. If you lift the front and then you want to install a jack stand, this carriage here is a good spot. I'll show you this from the front. You could also, if you want to lift the front wheel off the ground, any spot right here in the under carriage where it connects to the lower control arm. Good spot for if you want to just lift one wheel off the ground, you could put a jack there. Also a good spot for a safety jack stand.
Same thing on this side. The rear, if you want to just lift one wheel off the ground, I would use probably a piece of wood, and then you could lift underneath this control arm here. Same thing on the other side.
