Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and then reinstall a front door panel on this 2006 Nissan Sentra. It is a pretty easy process. The only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and you may also need a small flat blade screwdriver.
You can actually take this panel and lift up. You have to get your fingers underneath and underneath back in here. Lift up firmly. It comes right out. Then, this lifts up firmly as well. Then right back here is a little tab on your harness. Push that in and disconnect the switch harness. Now, right in behind here there are two . either they are 10mm bolts or you can use a Phillips screwdriver, although usually using a socket and ratchet is a little easier. With the screwdriver you do have to press very quick and hard to get them going. Those come out. There is another small clip right up in here, with the Phillips screw. Get your screwdriver in there and lightly turn it. You may have to just reach in behind with your fingernail or a flat blade screwdriver and try and pry that out, because it doesn't always come right out. There's also a Phillips screw right down here at the bottom of the door panel. Remove that screw. Then take your small screwdriver and carefully pry out this bezel around the door handle. Pull on the door panel and it comes right up and off.
To reinstall a door panel is pretty easy. Just make sure that your harness comes through and put the door panel up. Put it down all the way. Then your clips should line up. You just need to hit it a couple of times. Get this one down and just lift up a little bit. Put these two Phillips bolts back in. This little plastic one just pushes right into place. Put the screw underneath right into place. This goes on and just pushes in to lock into place. Reconnect your power window switch. Put the front down in first, then lock the back into place. Put this right into place and press down.
