If your metal bumper has dents or dings, learn to hammer them out like a pro with this tip video from 1A Auto, featuring tools available on 1AAuto.com!
What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to remove this ding in this bumper on this 2015 Chevy Silverado. We have this hammer kit from 1AAuto.com. We're going to use it to remove this ding. If you need parts or tools for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
All right, so on the back side of this bumper, we can actually access the area where the ding is. We can take one of these body hammers and actually find the location of where it is. It's raised up right there, so that's the area. We want to take the hammer, and we're going to tap it out. It's looking pretty good. It's almost out. I'm just going to tap it a little bit more. If you had a softer metal where you don't want a lot of this to raise up, you can use this. There's a bunch of others in there. You just tap from the back side and it's going to prevent a lot of it from raising up.
There we go. We significantly improved that ding in the bumper. It's almost not visible. I hope this video helped you out.
