In this video we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the rear door panel on this Dodge Ram, it's a 2004, pretty much the same as any '02 to '08 and then the '09 2500 and 3500, pretty simple, you'll need a Phillips screw driver, as well as, a 10mm socket and ratchet with extension or a T40 Torx bit.
First you're going to remove two fasteners. There is either a T40 or a 10mm T40 Torx bit or a 10mm socket bolt there holding your door handle on and then a Phillip's screw right there. Here's a T40 Torx bit or a 10mm socket with an extension. You'll need the extension with the torques bit as well. I'm going to use the 10mm socket. Hold your door handle up a little bit. As I'm turning I'm just pulling out on the handle a little bit. Then this screw and then your door panel just comes up. You kind of lock your door like that and pull that out. Then behind there is a connector here for your power window, you just push down here and disconnect and then your door panel comes right off.
Put it back on first but you're going to want to do is pop this bezel around your door lock off which just requires you to push on a little tip from the bottom here and then unsnap it. Now there's two teeth down here, I guess, you just hook those down in a little bit and pull your plug lead for your power window out a little bit and then plug that in. You're going to push it in. You may have to work up just a little bit. Make sure that the lock comes through. Push down. Make sure all your edges are nice and tight against the door. Start our screw in. Take your door handle, put the socket or the torque spit right on it. You lock it in there, you pretty much just start turning, until it find its way and then you lock the bezel, just push it down over, snaps on.
