How to Replace Air Filter 2009-17 Chevy Traverse

step 1 :Removing the Air Filter
- Remove the six T20 screws from the air filter housing box cover
- Loosen the hose clamp on the air filter housing cover
- Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector
- Lift the cover up and out
- Remove the engine air filter

step 2 :Installing the Air Filter
- Inspect the air box and vacuum out any debris
- Insert the air filter into place
- The engine air filter housing cover on
- Connect the air intake hose
- Tighten the hose clamp with a flat blade screwdriver
- Tighten the six T20 Torx bolts to the housing cover
- Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector
