Here are the items you'll need for this repair: 5/16 wrench, 13mm or 1/2inch socket, ratchet, socket extension
Your battery is located in the passenger side of the engine bay. You'll need a 5/16th wrench to loosen the side post terminals. Always start with the ground. Remove and isolate the battery connection, and then move on to the positive post. We'll isolate that as well. Using a 13 millimeter or a half inch socket ratchet and extension loosen the battery hold down bolt behind the battery, and in front of your air box. Once the bolts out remove the battery hold on from the battery tray. Remove the battery from the truck.
Install your battery. Be sure to lay it in on an angle like this and slide the front into the hook. Lay the handle down, and reinstall your battery hold down with a 13 millimeter socket and ratchet. Install the positive battery terminal first by lining up the bolt, and then tightening it down with your 5/16th wrench. Then do the same with the negative battery terminal.
