Here are the items you'll need for this repair: 8mm and 10mm sockets, ratchet, socket extensions
The battery is located on the driver's side of the engine bay, all the way at the front here. It appears that this terminal has been replaced, so ours is a 13 millimeter, but yours should be an 8mm. Always disconnect the negative side first, so we'll be removing ours with a 13 millimeter socket and ratchet.
Again, yours may be different. Remove the terminal and place it off to the side. We'll use an 8 millimeter on the positive terminal. Loosen that up. Remove it. Make sure you pinch it off to the side somewhere so it doesn't come loose. Using a 10 millimeter socket, ratchet and extension, remove the hold down bolt at the bottom. Once the bolt is free, remove the entire bracket. Notice how there are two channels that face the outside of the battery tray where the stepped portion faces into the battery. Remove the battery.
Install your new battery and the hold down. Again, step toward the battery, tabs toward the tray. You'll notice this also helps to center the battery. We'll tighten that down with the 10 millimeter socket, ratchet and extension. Check that your battery is in there nice and secure, and reinstall the positive terminal first. Tighten that down with your 8 millimeter socket and ratchet. Now, you just want to snug these.
You don't have to pull them too tight otherwise you risk stripping the fastener, making them loose on there. We'll attach the ground last. Be sure to have your key fob handy when attaching the ground side because if your vehicle has an alarm, this may cause it to go off. Tighten that down. Ours is a 13mm, yours may be different. Same thing, just until it's snug and you're good to go.

The difference between tapered bearings and roller ball bearings. If you have a truck or large car, tapered bearings are the better choice. TRQ offers tapered bearings for these models, when other brands use roller ball bearings
