If you need a new blower motor, watch this video to learn how to install one in your 2002-2009 Dodge Ram 1500.
All right, friends. To get started on our blower motor, we're gonna come right underneath the passenger side of the dash along this kick panel, and you're gonna find some wiring. Go ahead and squeeze on the tab for your connector, give it a little wiggle, and pull this right down. Take a peek, make sure you don't see any funny colors. This looks great, let's set it aside. On your blower motor, you're gonna see three mounting bolts. You're gonna need a Torx head bit to get these out, so go ahead and grab that, remove all three bolts, and then we'll remove the blower motor. All right. Let's go ahead and pull this out. There it is, friends.
All right. Now, it's gonna be time to get our brand new blower motor in here. Something that I want you to pay attention to is this area right here. If you look at it, you can see it sticks out much further than the other mounting holes. With that said, put this facing towards the driver side, and now we'll get this right up and in here. Good, that's situated perfectly. Start in all three of your bolts and then snug them up. That looks great. Let's connect in our wiring here. Push it in, listen for a click, give it a nice tug. Now all you need to do is test it out.
