In this video, we're going to show you the location and how to replace your blower motor resistor. If your truck, the fan works, but maybe it doesn't work on certain fan settings like low or second, that's usually that your resistor's gone bad.
A pretty easy replacement. Just need a Phillips screwdriver. Your blower resistor, you can see it right here, along with two Phillips screws. It's pretty easy to access, although I'm going to film from right down here. Now first, there's a tab on the inside of the harness. Push the tab in and work that down. Then there are two screws. Original, new one from 1A Auto. You can see pretty much all the same. The connection is exactly the same. It's going to go in, both in, and function just like the original. Now install our new one up in there. Reconnect the lead. Turn the key on. Blow, two, three, four.
