How to Replace Blower Motor Resistor 2011-13 Ford Fiesta

How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a bad or broken blower motor fan speed resistor on 11, 12, 13 Ford Fiesta

  1. step 1 :Removing the Blower Motor Resistor
    • Loosen the plastic body screw from the center console floor panel with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pull the panel out
    • Remove the T20 bolts from the blower motor resistor
    • Remove the resistor
    • Disconnect the wiring harness
    • Examine the connector for melted or burnt terminals
  2. step 2 :Installing the Blower Motor Resistor
    • Connect the resistor wiring harness
    • Insert the blower motor resistor into place
    • Tighten the T20 Torx bolts to the resistor
    • Press the center console floor panel on
    • Tighten the body screw to the console panel
