Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a blower motor. If your motor is making loud whirring noises or groaning noises that change pitch when you change the fan speed then you probably need to replace your blower motor. It's pretty easy. All you need is a T25 Torx driver.
Okay, it really couldn't be easier. It's just right up under here, right above your passenger's feet. Okay, this is a little tab right here. Push it and disconnect your lead, and then use a T25 Torx screwdriver to remove the three screws. Fast-forward here as I just remove the three T25 screws that hold it in place. Okay and remove the last one and the motor just pulls right out.
The new motor from 1AAuto.com is going to go right up in there. Push into place and start the screws by hand. Okay, and we'll start speeding it up here again, so you want to start all your screws first. Then use your T25 Torx driver. Tighten it up most of the way, and then you want to tighten nice and firm. Then reconnect your lead and you're all set.
