How to Replace Bumper Lower Grille 2005-14 Ford Mustang

So one of the first things we need to do is, of course, get underneath the vehicle. Now we have a clear view of where the lower grille is supposed to be. It kind of just presses in to the bumper cover. You're going to use something as simple as a small pocket screwdriver. Come right along this edge right here, you can see, and then just kind of draw this away. Once you do, push up on this tab and push through just like that. You would do the same right down the line. Anywhere you see one of those little clips, these are pretty much all out, and then come down to the end here, do the same thing there.

Now just kind of twist it. You just want to slide out on the top. There it is. If you look at the backside of the grille, you can see those areas that are going to have to get pressed through the bumper cover all along the top there. Pay special attention to the center area, approximately where the license plate would be. There's a little slot there, and these tabs need to go in there. That's where we're going to start with the center, line those up. Once we do that, we'll continue. Just put my fingers on the tabs, line them up, make sure they're pressed in there. Once they are, you can come along to the side. We get that push through, use your pocket screwdriver, grab on that lip, and just pull it. There we are. That's good. Okay, up along the top and definitely through those holes and through the holes on the bottom. This looks great. Let's take a look from the front. Oh, yeah. Perfect.
