In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the cabin air filters in this 2000 Honda Accord, same as any '98 to 2002 Accord. Tools you'll need are a Phillips screw driver and a flat head screw driver. Okay, start by pulling off your fuse door on the passenger side. You want to remove this screw and this screw. Okay, we'll speed it up a little bit as we remove those two screws. Okay, once those are out, pull this panel down and out. Okay, now underneath, there are three screws, there, there and there. Now, we are going to speed up as we remove those three screws. Open up your glove box. Okay, we're inside these little covers. They pop right off. Pry that off. There are four screws in behind. We'll speed it up here as we remove those two Phillips screw screws, as well as two screws right here. Okay, once you have that done, you're going to pull your box up and out.
Okay, there's a lead on this side for the light. Press on the tab. That disconnects. Your glove box is up. Okay, right here is where your filters are located. Okay, what you want to do is reach underneath, and there's a tab you pull. That allows you to push your door up some. Okay, you can take it off of there. Then, this comes right down. Okay, here is your filters. Pull them up and out. Okay, here's your other one. Up and out.
Okay, so the new filters. You can see they have airflow in the arrows, the air is going to be coming from here going into the car, so we want to make sure we have the arrows pointed towards the driver side of the car. Push one down and in. Then the same thing. The second one, you do have to kind of force it a little bit, and it's okay if you flex them just a little bit, get them to fit right in. Okay, now put our door back up on. Hang it up on here. Clip it in down there.
Okay, put our box back in. Bring our lead up and connect the light again. This think is a little bit tough to get down in. With this vehicle, I kind of have to push this bottom corner down. Okay, I'm just going to fast-forward to putting those four upper screws back in. Then, make sure that you put the little trim covers back on, the two outside screws. Okay, we'll continue the fast work right through putting the three bottom screws in. Then, put that panel back on. Finish up these bottom screws. Panel back on. Then, finish up on those two screws. Last but not least, put that fuse panel back in place.
