Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we are going to show you how to replace the cabin air filter on this 2003 Nissan Altima. It's the same process on the Altima's from 2002 to 2006. Items you'll need include a new cabin air filter from 1AAuto.com, flat blade screwdriver, and a Phillips screwdriver.

Your cabin air filter is located on the passenger side behind the glove box. You want to just pull down the glove box, and right here you can see there is a circular tab, and underneath is a triangular tab. Using a screwdriver you want to push the triangular tab in while pushing down on the circular tab, and that will pull free and push in on the other side of the glove box and pull it down. Do the same on the other side and then right back there is your cabin air filter. Pull on each of these tabs here and then that will come off. You can see we don't have a cabin air filter but this is where it would be.

Feed your new cabin air filter into place, and you will note that on the filter it does say air flow and then the arrows point down. You do want the arrows pointing down to put it on the correct alignment. Now, feed the door up into place and push on those two tabs to lock them. Now push your glove box back up into place, and then take that tab and just feed it back into that circular slot. Once you get into there, use a screwdriver, and you just push it up the rest of the way, lock it, and then you are all set.
