We're going to start by removing these Phillips head screws from the underneath. There are one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Make sure you put these screws aside in a safe place, as they're very small. You don't want to lose them.

This black trim should come off now. The clip is probably catching on it, unless yours is broken, so you can just push in the button here, to release it. Put this aside. I'm going to take this whole cover off so we can work on it on the bench. You have to loosen these screws, these four screws at the hinge, these are also Phillips. Just hold onto it as you remove the last one because the console lid's going to be lose and might fall off. Then I can lift this out.

I'm going to use a small, flat bladed screwdriver to peel this rubber out. All that holds this in is friction. Its' got some little pins, but just the friction of those pins sitting in the holes is what holds it in. That shows us the screws that are in here, the Phillips head, so I'm going to remove those. There is four of them. Four top screws removed.

I'm going to flip it over and remove these two Phillips screws in here. It's actually sitting on a little pin, and I just lift it up a little bit and pop it out. Now it's loose underneath, I just pick it up, push it out, and there's a hook for the latch if that's not broken you'll have to lift it out, just like that. I'm just going to clean up in here, sometimes there's little coffee spills. I clean up any soda, coffee spills in here, dirt.

All right, so to reinstall this, we're going to place our little hook in there. Roll it down. Flip it over. There's a locating pin here, so we're just going to push it in. It's going to sit over that locating pin. Take our two Phillips head screws and get them started. You can just tighten them down until you feel them stop. Now I'm going to work on the top.

We'll replace our four screws that we took out. Then we put our rubber back in, so two locating pins: one's narrow, one's wide. It'll only fit one way. We're back inside the vehicle, so reinstall this console lid cover on the hinge. The hinge sort of has a contour to it that matches this opening here. Slide this in, it's also got some locating tabs like that. Hold it with one hand, take the screws, the Phillips head screws, tighten down these two outer screws, and then we install our center screws.

With the screws reinstalled in the hinge, now we're going to put this black trim cover back on. It's going to go over this top hook, just like that, it's going to hold it in place. There's eight little Phillips head screws. Okay, with those all screwed in. Our console cover is all set.
