Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove your coolant overflow bottle in this 2006 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7-liter V6 engine. The items you'll need for this are a pair of pliers, some locking pliers and a 10 millimeter socket and ratchet.

Your coolant overflow bottle is right here. You want to start off by taking some pliers and pushing the teeth together on that hose clamp and sliding it down the hose, and then pulling the hose free. I'm just going to move it back and forth until it pops off.

Next, remove these two 10-millimeter nuts. We'll just fast-forward as Don does this. Once those nuts are removed, pull your coolant bottle forward, up and out. Using a pair of locking pliers, clamp that hose shut. Then using your other pliers, push the tabs on the hose clamp and slide it back. Then you want to just pull that hose free. Now your overflow bottle is free.

Push that hose onto your new coolant bottle. Then use your pliers to push the teeth together, and slide that hose clamp forward. Then remove your locking pliers. Push your reservoir bottle into place on those two studs. Then replace those two 10 millimeter nuts. We'll just fast-forward as Don tightens those up.Reconnect the upper hose. Using your pliers, slide that hose clamp back into place.

Refill your coolant bottle to the proper level with new coolant. Replace your reservoir bottle cap. You're all set.
