New Coolant Reservoir from 1AAuto.com How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a broken, damaged, split or leaking radiator coolant overflow bottle on 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 Toyota Camry or Lexus ES350.
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Open the hood. Pull the release handle down here, above your knee. Release the safety, which is right here. This hood has hood struts. Place the core reservoir. Remove the overflow hose from it. And take a small pick and just sort of break the overflow hose free. It should just slide off like that. And the entire tank will slide off the bracket. If it still has coolant in it, make sure you either dispose of this properly, or you can poor it into your new tank if it hasn't leaked out.
This is our original tank, still has some coolant in it. This one's not damaged, but we just want to show you our brand new one from 1AAuto.com. Let's see it's identical in design, has the same mount for the bracket that it slides onto, same styled cap, comes with a hose that goes on here, just like the original. So, if your overflow bottle is broken or missing, this one will replace it perfectly.
We'll take our new one. We'll slide it right over the bracket. Install the cap, install the overflow hose. It pushes right back over. I'm going to actually take this out. I take a funnel, and I will transfer the coolant over from our old bottle. The coolant overflow reservoir is replaced.
