In this video we're going to show you hot to replace the side parking light. It's the orange light right next to the headlight on any '93-'97 Ranger. The only tool you'll need is an 11mm wrench or a socket with a ratchet.
You want to remove the parking light which involves moving an 11mm nut right there. An 11mm socket with a ratchet or a wrench works fine as well. Now, put your fingers in behind here and it's held in by just a couple of pins that have to push through. Feed the wiring harness out. Here's the signal light.
If you're looking to just change this bulb, turn it counterclockwise, pull it out. The bulb just pulls out and pushes in. Here's a nice new light from 1A Auto. If you had some minor damage or whatever, you're going to go in and replace, just like the original. You can see we've put in some new trim and a new headlight. What you're probably going to want to do is unplug the bulb from the harness and then put it in and re-plug in the bulb.
This and this line up with little clips. You can just kind of peek in, get one of them in. You might need to push the harness back in a little bit to get the other one in. Make sure that your stud up here is lined up. Push it right back in. Put your 11mm nut back on.
