How to repair, install, fix, change or replace the broken, damaged, cracked, faded, cloudy, or chipped headlights and parking lights on your vehicle on 98, 99, and 00 Toyota Corolla models.
Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the Internet.
In this video we're going to show you front parking light replacement on this '98 Corolla, same as any '98 to '02 Corolla. The only tool you'll need is a Phillip's screwdriver.
There's a Phillips screw right on top. Remove that. What you have to do is you have to take the headlight, shake it up and down, pull it forward.
If you're just looking to replace the bulb, twist that out. The bulb then pulls out, pushes back in. If you wanted to replace this whole socket, there's a little button right here. Press the button, pull the socket out.
If your side marker parking light was damaged then you want to have a nice new one. We're going to put a nice new one in to match these nice new headlights that we just put in. New lights from 1A Auto plug right in. There are two things that hold it. There's a tab back here. You need to make sure it goes into this slot in the fender. Then this locking tab right here goes right into this slot. So, for this tab up here where the Phillips screw holds it, just make sure it goes in between the light and the fender. Then move back here. You can see that tabs going in, a little under, you can see that the locking tab's going in. Get it into place. Give it a good little push. Put your Phillip's screw back in and you're all set.
