How to Replace Cornering Light 2002-06 GMC Envoy XL

In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulb as well as replace the entire corner light assembly on this 2003 GMC Envoy XL. It's the same part and similar process on regular Envoys made after 2002. There are no tools required for this.

Reach up behind the corner light. You can just push in the tab on the socket, twist it counter clockwise, and it pulls out. Then you can pull your old bulb out and push your new bulb in. Then you would just twist that socket back into the corner light clockwise to lock it.

Now push the tab on the side of your corner light, and pull back and then down. Just to show you a close-up this is the tab. You just push that in and it pops out. Then you can pull it down and out.

Now feed that tab on the left up and in, and then you just push in the right side and it will clip into place. Once it's pushed forward and set back into place, just twist your socket back in clockwise to lock it. Then you're all set.
