step 1 :Removing the Door Lock Switch
- Pry up the master switch panel with a door trim tool
- Disconnect the wiring harnesses
- Release the tabs from the door lock switch
- Remove the door lock switch

step 2 :Installing the Door Lock Switch
- Insert the new switch into the master window switch
- Connect the wiring harnesses to the master window switch
- Press the master window switch into the door panel

Here are the items you'll need for this repair: interior trim removal tool, flat blade screwdriver, pick tool
Lift up and remove the window switch and unplug all four electrical connectors, and remove the panel from the truck. To remove the power door lock switch, use a pick or a pry tool to pry out the clips.
There's one on the front and one on the back. Also if you're using a pick you can push in on them and try to lift them out that way. It's really just a matter of working these. And remove it from the panel.
To install the switch, simply line it up and snap it in to place. Reconnect all the switches in your panel. Line up the tabs and snap it back into place.
