In this video we're going to show you how to replace the air filter on this S10 Blazer same as most of these S10 Blazers, the Jimmys and the pickups. This vehicle does have the 4.3 liter. The only thing you need is a screwdriver, a flat blade screwdriver to do this. Your filter is right here on the driver's side of the vehicle. Right up here near the front. All you need is a flat blade screwdriver. There's four screws. One here, one back here, one right there, and then one there where that hole is. As you can see, this truck is missing one of the screws.
We'll fast forward through just using the screwdriver to remove those screws. Lift up on this and pull your filter up and out. It actually looks like this truck has a pretty new filter on it. 1A Auto we do sell the Canaan air filters. They offer a slight performance and mile per gallon increase, but nothing that you're really going to be able to measure. I do like to put them in my vehicles. This vehicle is just kind of like a test mule and like I said this filter looks pretty new so I'm going to put the filter back in. Pretty easy. Put it down in make sure it's seated well and then push your cover on. You want to push it back a little bit and then down, and then tighten up these screws. Then we'll fast forward though that. The other thing to mention about the Canaan filters is they do come with a lifetime warranty.
