How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a dirty, dusty or clogged air filter on 14 Toyota Tundra

step 1 :Removing the Air Filter
- Unclip the air box cover tabs
- Lift the air box cover off its tabs
- Pull the air filter out of the air box

step 2 :Installing the Air Filter
- Place the air filter into the air box
- Line up the air box tabs
- Lower the air box cover
- Clip the cover onto the air box

Let's open up the air box. There's two metal tabs: one towards the back, one towards the front near the washer bottle. Unhook them and lift it up. The back of the box is sitting on these two tabs. Pull it out. Gently pry it up. Pull the air filter out.
Reinstall the air filter. Make sure these two tabs get caught, the back of the air box here. Push them in. Catch the metal ones. Catch them on both sides and then push them down to lock them.
