Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
Start with the hood up. This truck has the 5-liter V8. The air cleaner is right here behind your radiator coolant and washer fluid. It's pretty simple. There are just two clasps. Reach right behind and flip those off: one there and one there. Then you kind of lift it up this way and then pull it over. Pull your air filter right up and out.
At 1AAuto, we do sell the K&N filters. What you're going to do is lift this up. Get the filter right in. Make sure it goes down into place properly. Bring your box down, and you'll tilt it up this way. There are three tabs down here. They go into slots in the air box. Tilt it up. This locks in. Push it down. Bring the clasps up and lock them down into place. After installing the K&N filter, you want to put the sticker on top. Also, just make the electrical connections, the airflow sensors that came off, make sure those are all on tight.
