step 1 :Removing the Dome Light Bulbs
- Pry off the dome light lens with a flat blade screwdriver
- Pull the bulb out

step 2 :Installing the Dome Light Bulbs
- Insert a 168 type bulb into the dome light bulb socket
- Test the light
- Reinstall the dome light lens by pressing it in place
What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the front dome lights on this 2012 Ford Escape. If you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
I'm going to take a pocket screwdriver and slide it in right here. There's a little slot. We're just going to pry this down. I'm going to have to go around the outside a little bit and just pull. This slides out. There's those clips that hold that on. You can just grab the bulb and pull it straight down.
This is a 168 bulb. We'll just take it and slide it back in the slot. It looks good. I'm going to check it and make sure it works. Just make sure that switch is pushed forward. It works, so we're good. Reinstall the cover. Just slide this in position like that and lock it in place.
