How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a broken, or ripped off radiator grille emblem on 14, 15, 16 Toyota Tundra

step 1 :Removing the Grille
- Remove the four 10mm bolts from the grille
- Pry up the push clips from the grille
- Lift the grille up off the grommets
- Press the tab behind and at the bottom of the grille
- Remove the grille

step 2 :Removing the Emblem
- Press the tabs on the emblem
- Remove the emblem from the grille

step 3 :Installing the Emblem
- Press the emblem to the grille

step 4 :Installing the Grille
- Press the grille into the clips to secure it
- Press the push clips in
- Tighten the four 10mm bolts to the grille

Release the hood from the inside, and then we'll reach under here. Push the lever up for the safety catch, and then lift the hood up. It has struts. There’s no hood prop rod.
To remove the grille, there are four 10mm bolts along the top. They do have a Phillips head cut out in them, but I'm going to use a 10mm socket extension and ratchet to remove them. Once those are removed, there are two push clips on either side on the top. Use a small flat bladed screw driver to pry up that clip and if these are loose enough once they're popped up they'll come right out. Do the same for both sides.
To remove the grille it actually sits over these white grommets, so it's not going to want to move this way. So you're going to have to pry it up just like that. Then you pull it down away from the truck. I'm just going to reach in behind. There's a tab holding the lower part of the grille in and you have to, it's kind of like a tab you can push on it, push down. I'm going to push down. It should pull out like that. You’re basically just pushing it down to get unlocked off this little ridge and at the same time it's pulling out of this pin down here.
So I'm going to just kind of—I need to go do the other side. Do the same thing on the passenger side. It's pushed out. Pull it out of the lower pin. Lift the grille up an out. We'll put that aside.
To remove your Toyota Logo from your grille, flip it over and push up on this tab here. I'll put my hand here on the other side so it doesn't fall. There's a tab here and a tab here. Should come loose and you can use the other hand. Push it down a little bit. Pull it right out and there's the emblem.
To reinstall the grille, there are three push clips on the bottom that will push into this metal bumper support. There's a lower locking tab. This one's really stiff. You can't get to it when you remove it.
This is the upper lever push to release, so this will go into here. This will go into here. Same for both sides. We get the bottom one lined up first, and then line up the top. The same for this side. I'm going to push them in, in the bottom. Click into place and push the top up over the right grommets. Put the push clips back in. Reinstall all the soft tap in bolts. Just going to pass the grommets. You don't have to over tighten them. Feeling it tight to stop. Do the same for all four.
