Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the air deflector on this 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. The only tools that you're going to need are a 10 millimeter socket and ratchet, and some soap, and maybe a pair of pliers, depending on the condition of your air deflector.

First, turn your wheel in for the side that you're going to start working on. And on either side you'll see a 10 millimeter bolt, right here. This side's broken, so we just hold on to it with some pliers, and then Mike removes that 10 millimeter bolt. Now we'll just fast-forward as he does this, and when you're done on this side turn the wheel in the other way and repeat the process on the other side.

Now just hit the air deflector back, to release it from those tabs, and it pulls off. Put some soap on the tabs to help the new one to slide into place. Now, you want to re-clip on the new air deflector. As you can see, just get the tabs lined up. We've found that the best thing to do is you get a slot on the deflector lined up with a tab, and then you can see here, push the bottom of it back while you push the area around the tab up, and it kind of snaps into place easiest. So the bottom goes back, and then push it on and snap it in.

Now, replace both those 10 millimeter bolts, and tighten them up. Once you've done both sides, you're all set.
