In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the front radiator grille on this 2001 Chevy Malibu, same as any 2000 to 2003. The only tools you'll need are a flat blade screwdriver and a 10mm wrench or socket and ratchet.
Here's your front grille. You can see ours is in good shape. I'll just take it off, and put it back on to show you. It's held in by four clips at the top. Basically, you just take a screwdriver and pry up on the middle of each of clip, and pull it up and out. Then pull forward just a little bit, grab underneath the sides, and pull it up and out.
If you're replacing your grille, you'll want to switch over this chrome bar on the front and there's just five 10mm nuts. Use a 10mm wrench, and take these five off, transfer to the bar on to your new grille. Put it back on. Getting the grille back on is pretty simple. Line up all your tabs, push it down, and in place.
