Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the grille on this 2003 GMC Envoy. It's the same part and similar process on the regular Envoys made after 2002. The items you'll need are a new grille from 1AAuto.com, flat-blade screwdriver, and a pair of pliers if your vehicle has headlight washers.

There are six clips: here, here, here, here, here, and here. What you want to do is really carefully get in behind and pry on the clips. You don't want to pry on the plastic itself. You want to pull the plastic out a little bit, then really get down and pry on the clip itself. We have wire ties at the bottom of our grille, but you'll have two clips, and once those clips at the top are removed, you just pull the grille straight up, and those clips will release. In our case, we have to just clip our wire ties. Then, you use pliers or wire-tie cutters, whatever, to squeeze these clamps, move them back, twist the hose, and pull it off.

Put it back on. If you have the washers, push the teeth together on the hose clamp, and slide it back up. Because our tabs are missing, we have to wire tie our new grille on, but in your case, you shouldn't have to do this. You just want to lower the grille straight down into those clips, and then push the top back. You line this up. There's line-up pins here. Make sure they go in.
