How to Replace Headlight Assemblies 2009-14 Nissan Murano

1. step 1 :Removing the Bumper Cover 0:50

   • Remove the 14 clips from the plastic covers over the grille with a trim tool
   • Loosen the clips with a screwdriver and pry them up from the metal shield
   • Raise and secure the vehicle with a jack and jack stands
   • Remove the clips from the splash shield underneath with a trim tool
   • Remove the T20 Torx screws from the shield beneath the bumper
   • Remove the two 10mm bolts holding the bumper cover to the radiator support
   • Pry back the wheel well shield
   • Remove the 10mm bolt from either side of the bumper cover
   • Pop the bumper cover out and off
   • Press the pin and remove the lock tabs underneath the grille
   • Press the tabs on the grille with a flat blade screwdriver to loosen it
   • Pry the grille side tabs free with needle nose pliers
   • Lift the grille up and press the clips to remove it
   • Remove the push-pin tabs from either side of the bumper cover
   • Pull the bumper cover out

2. step 2 :Removing the Headlight 7:32

   • Remove the four 10mm bolts from the headlight
   • Pull the headlight assembly forward
   • Pry the harness out from beneath the light
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlight

3. step 3 :Installing the Headlight 11:19

   • Connect the wiring harnesses to the headlight
   • Line the headlight up and slide it into place
   • Tighten the four 10mm bolts to the headlight

4. step 4 :Installing the Bumper Cover 14:34

   • Lift the bumper cover up into place
   • Press the bumper into place
   • Tighten the 10mm bolt on either end of the bumper
   • Press in the three push-pins where the bumper meets the metal bracket
   • Place the plastic pieces and their lock tabs to the bumper
   • Put the grille into place, clipping in the edge on either side
   • Press the push pins to the grille
   • Place on the plastic shield over the grille
   • Press the push-pins to the shield
   • Peel back the fender well liner and tighten the 10mm screw to either side of the bumper
   • Press the splash shield into place
   • Press the push-pins to the splash shield
