Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!

Open the hood. Put the prop rod under it. It's got two spots. Farther one down is like a maintenance position. On both sides of the hood, there are two 10 millimeter head bolts. You're going to remove both of those.

You're going to need an assistant, then lift the hood off and place it on the roof. We've already got a blanket on the roof so we don't scratch the paint. Going to loosen these up. Use a 10 millimeter socket and a ratchet. They are painted in place. Might take a bit of force to break them free. Just kind of loosen them up, don't take them all the way out, and go to the other side, loosen the other two. Alright. We're just going to remove the bolts. Alright. This one is not too big, it's not too heavy. We're going to walk it backwards and put it right on the roof.

Getting ready to put our hood back on. I've got an assistant to help me. We've got our bolts at hand, so I'm going to lift it up, walk it right over to the hood hinges, and turn it up. You can line it up by where the paint is missing with the hinge. So this one is going to have to go up on my side a little bit. Good on the hood prop rod, so now I'll tighten these down. I can see it lines up with the outline of where they were perfectly. Now we've got the bolts tightened. We can lower the hood and just double check the alignment, make sure it closes without hitting the fenders. This looks good. And we're all set.
