step 1 :Removing the Key FOB Battery
- Turn the key FOB over
- Pry the screwdriver between the key ring and the back plate
- Pop the cover up and off
- Remove the battery from the cover

step 2 :Installing the Key FOB Battery
- Press the battery into the cover
- Press the cover to the back of the key FOB
- Check the operation of the key

Here we have a key FOB for a 2007 Audi A4.
To change the battery, flip it over, and put the screwdriver between the key ring and this plate. Simply pop up. Take the battery out of the cover.
Replace the old battery with a new one. The battery stays in there all by itself. We just have to line up the tabs, and snap it back into place. Then check the operation of your key.
