How to remove and replace the key fob battery from a 10 Nissan Murano
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To change a Nissan key car battery, you want to pull this little tab over. It will unlock the emergency key, and separate the key fob from it. There are two small little slots right here. We’ll take a small, flat-bladed screwdriver, and just gently pop them up. That will separate the two halves of the key fob.
There's the circuit board with all of your buttons. Right here is the battery. So you just take the small flat-bladed screwdriver, and just work it under here. Just like that, it'll pop right out. It's a 2032 battery. It actually tells you right there on the plastic, 2032. And which way it goes, so it's got like a little bar there. That's supposed to be the negative side. This is the positive side, goes face down. A little spring holds it in place. Take this, it just snaps back together. Just like that. Put the key back in it, and the battery's replaced.
