New Keyless Remote Insert & Case from 1AAuto.com How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a damaged, worn out, faulty or shorted keyless remote entry key fob on 05 Nissan Altima
So, we've got our old key fob from our vehicle. We've got a new replacement case from 1AAuto.com. It is identical in design and I'm going to show you how to swap over the guts that are inside.
You'll take a quarter; pop it open at the bottom. The circuit board is in here. You can pull the rubber buttons out and then take the circuit board, slide that out. There is a plastic cover that matches the shape of the circuit board. Make sure that stays together. Take our new key fob and the rubber buttons. I'm going to place it inside.
Take a flat-bladed screwdriver and pop the battery out. Place the battery in, the 2025 battery, positive side down. Clip it in place. Take your two halves, clip them together. You get a fresh key fob, fresh buttons, and you're all set.
