In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the MAP sensor on this 2002 Suzuki XL-7. The tools you'll need include a 4mm Allen bit and a ratchet.
Your map sensor is located right here. You want to start off by disconnecting the harness. Just push the tab and pull it free. Then remove these two 4mm Allen bolts. We'll just fast-forward as Don does this. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull that sensor up and off.
Take your new sensor and push it down into place. Replace those two Allen bolts. We'll just fast-forward as Don replaces those and tightens them up. Then reconnect your harness and you're all set.
